All about our Heart, Liver & Pancreas Detox Supplement

Dogs bodies are naturally created to detoxify themselves, but at times their bodies need help to eliminate any toxins entering their bodies. Toxins are everywhere starting from the air we breath, medication, vaccines and food.

There are many ways your dog or cat will detoxify their body. Some may eliminate these toxins through their urine or poop, skin or ears. Our heart, liver and pancreas tonic will help your pet clean out their body.

When should you detoxify your pet?

1) Dogs and cats that are acutely ill and need immediate help, or have a chronic problem for which detoxification is needed. For instance pets that may have abnormal laboratory results such as kidney, liver, or adrenal disease.

2) Dogs and cats that have ongoing serious issues such as cancer or other chronic diseases, as well as those that received initial detoxification such as fluids from the vet but require more support.

3) Dogs and cats that appear healthy but may still suffer from an overload of chemicals/drugs/vaccines in their bodies. Vaccine damage happens slowly, over weeks or months. That’s because there are toxic ingredients in vaccines that accumulate in the body. Eventually, they can cause:

Immune disorders, Allergies, Inflammatory conditions and Cancer.

Vaccine reactions are caused by the substances added to vaccines. These include aluminium, thimerosal, animal proteins such as foetuses, and contaminants that cause diseases such as leukaemia or autoimmune diseases.

4)Dogs and cats need to detox after administering vaccines, after treatment of antibiotics or other medication including any deworming or flea and tick drops or pills.

How does a dog or cat detoxify their body?

It’s not uncommon and very normal for dogs and cats to have a reaction while detoxing. So do not rush to the vet, and do not stop the supplement just yet. This is very normal. You may see symptoms such as an aggravation of existing symptoms, a recurrence of old ones and/or the development of new ones. Some examples are:

- Loose stools and/or mucus in stools for a few days to a few weeks (if watery or bloody consult a veterinarian)

- Discharge from the eyes

- Increased body odor

-Itchiness

What is so special about this blend of supplements?

All our supplements are organic and each ingredient we use is beneficial both for you and your dog. Therefore you can enjoy the health benefits of these supplements too.

This blend of herbs is made up of a number of different mushrooms such as Reishi, Chaga, SHiitake, Maitake, Hericium Monkey Head, Cordyceps, and Snow fungus. These mushrooms not only help balance the gut bacteria and ease ulcers and gastritis but they can also regulate blood sugars levels for animals that suffer with diabetes. Other beneficial health properties are they are anti- inflammatory, protect the liver and support kidney health. Hericium Monkey Head in particular helps to improve cognitive function in senior dogs or those at risk of cognitive decline. This mushroom also helps with fat metabolism to help dogs maintain a consistent weight. Snow fungus has anti-cancer and immune-boosting properties and improves the effectiveness of antibodies in dogs. It can also enhance the body's anti-tumor immunity. Snow fungus can improve the liver's detoxification ability and protect dogs' liver function.

Another beneficial ingredient is bee pollen. Bee pollen protects and promotes a healthy liver and assists in the healing process for a compromised liver. It improve muscle mass and increases metabolism. Quercetin is found in bee pollen and therefore helps with allergy symptoms. It is considered to be anti microbial, antifungal and anti viral. Trans-cinnamic acid is also found in bee pollen which is known to be a natural antibiotic. Helps with UTIs.

Ginseng is commonly prescribed to dogs and cats. It may be of particular benefit in the management of Addison's disease, congestive heart failure, diabetes mellitus, chronic low grade hepatitis and perhaps even cognitive dysfunction in dogs and cats.

Other herbs include milk thistle, chlorella, nettle leaf, dandelion root and leaf. All these herbs are known to support good digestion and promote a healthy liver and heart. Dandelion in particular is a high antioxidant remedy for acute pancreatitis and liver support. Research has shown that the root strengthens the pancreas as well as the entire digestive system. Dandelion can increase bile and enzyme production in the liver, therefore aids in digestion and reduces stress on the pancreas.
